Canine Reproduction:

Moffitt Animal Clinic is excited to announce that we will be offering Reproductive services.

Breeding is part art, part science and total devotion, it is both exciting and challenging. In turn, it is also very time consuming, expensive and, occasionally, heartbreaking. The underlying purpose should be to improve the breed – not just increase its number. Responsible breeders devote time to learning as much as they can about their breed, health, and training, and about AKC rules.

AKC- American Kennel Club: The American Kennel Club is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to upholding the integrity of its registry, promoting the sport of purebred dogs and breeding for type and function. Founded in 1884, the AKC® and its affiliated organizations advocate for the purebred dog as a family companion, advance canine health and well-being, work to protect the rights of all dog owners and promote responsible dog ownership.

Owners can find testing recommendation by breed on the AKC website as well.
